Tasks

The Chapter Manager is the central point of coordination for the YPO Berlin Chapter. This part-time position supports the volunteer leadership team in delivering an exceptional member experience. The role includes event planning, administrative oversight, communications, and member engagement. It requires a well-organized, resourceful professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with senior executives.

  • Act as the primary liaison for members and the executive committee
  • Support new member onboarding and integration
  • Drive communication and engagement through newsletters, reminders, and updates
  • Maintain a warm, service-oriented relationship with all members
  • Collaborate closely with the Chapter Chair and board members to implement strategic goals
  • Schedule board meetings and retreats, prepare supporting materials and track action items
  • Support the succession planning process and volunteer leadership transitions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, executive support, or operations coordination
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Comfortable working with senior-level executives and maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and digital collaboration tools (experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus)
  • Located in or near Berlin, with availability to attend in-person events
