For our client, a company in the insurance industry based in Bern, we are looking for an ICT Supporter / ICT Engineer for a permanent role.

Your responsibilities:

• Receiving and processing fault reports and service requests in 1st and 2nd-level support
• Support with technical problems as well as installation and maintenance of the workplace infrastructure
• Responsible for user administration and maintenance of documentation
• Contact person for our employees, with a focus on customer satisfaction and ensuring accessibility
• Contribution to the design and optimization of tasks in the ICT service desk as well as collaboration on smaller projects
• Close cooperation with internal and external parties to find solutions

Your qualifications:

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ICT specialist EFZ or an equivalent qualification and several years of experience in ICT support, preferably in a Microsoft environment
• Very good knowledge of German, other languages ​​such as French or English are an advantage
• Solid experience in client support (Microsoft environments, workplace infrastructure), collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, MS Teams) and network administration. Knowledge of ITIL or agile working methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
• Experience in creating and maintaining operating manuals, instructions and checklists.
• Category B driving license and willingness to travel to our other locations and to do physical work (e.g. transport of work equipment)
• Strong customer focus, high social skills and skilled communication and consulting skills
• Due to Swiss work permit restrictions, we can only consider applications from Swiss nationals, EU citizens as well as current work-permit holders for Switzerland.
