Our client, a prestigious IT services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant for their Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) project. This is a 10-month remote contract role, with the requirement to be on-site in Koblenz for up to one week per quarter. The successful candidate will be fluent in German and possess extensive experience with Ansible, AAP, and VMWare, among other technical skills.

Tasks

• Design, implement, and manage Ansible Automation Platform solutions for various client requirements.
• Customize RHEL images for VMs and ensure they are optimized for performance and security.
• Build and manage rpm packages, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Provide expert guidance on VMWare, particularly in provisioning and managing RHEL VMs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of automated solutions.

Requirements

• Fluent in German (must)
• Strong expertise in Ansible (must)
• Knowledge of Puppet (optional, useful for migration projects)
• Proficiency in Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Experience with VMWare, particularly in managing RHEL VMs
