Requirement to Deployment Competence Center Lead
Über diesen Job
As the driving force behind digitization, the Informatics/Technology function unit has an influence on the whole of Swiss Post and is an important partner in its success. We go beyond core IT tasks and empower the company in its digital transformation. We use the latest technologies and work to advance agile, bimodal and embedded IT innovations. We develop new, secure business models and ensure that Swiss Post has a modern, high-performing ICT infrastructure. In addition, we are committed to the issue of sustainability: our headquarters in Bern have been awarded two certificates for sustainability. All newly built logistics centers meet the Gold sustainability standard at a minimum.
How you make a difference
- In this role, you ensure that automation measures are defined and implemented in development and delivery.
- You also ensure that the CI/CD pipeline meets Swiss Post I/T requirements and provide guidelines for test automation and the integration of automated quality reports (automated quality assurance baseline).
- Within the I/T organization, you support R2D managers in establishing and continuously developing quality standards, methods and time-to-market directives.
- You are responsible for the further development of the R2D Competence Center.
- You also lead the R2D steering community, assess new trends and, as required, derive the development of competencies and impacts on the I/T organization.
- You are responsible for the financial planning and management of the relevant cost centers.
- Your tasks also include optimizing the processes in requirement engineering, solution build & configure, and change & deployment.
What you have to offer
- For this role, you have a higher level of business management or technical training, supplemented by advanced training in the fields of business analysis, software development, deployment, etc.
- You also have experience in a management or coordinating role – ideally in several or all of the specified areas of responsibility.
- You have a strong technical understanding, particularly in the area of requirements engineering, and in dealing with IT technologies and application development.
- With a balanced combination of entrepreneurial thinking, coaching expertise and networking capability, you embody our new I/T culture: pragmatic and working together for our specialist units.
- Besides strong consulting and implementation skills, you are characterized by determination, excellent communication skills at all levels and outstanding leadership qualities.
- You communicate confidently in written and spoken German or French, have a good command of English and basic knowledge of a second national language.
You are required to be present in Bern for 2–3 days a week.
What we have to offer
- 6 weeks' holiday
- Parental Leave
- Mobile and flexible working
- Support with basic and advanced training
