• Development and implementation of an interface between SAP DMS and the external RMS system (provided by OpenText)

• Enable reliable and compliant bulk transfer of revision-relevant documents from SAP DMS to RMS

• Develop logic in SAP DMS to populate a transfer table or processing queue that serves as the basis for downstream processing.

• Coordinate with developers on the structure and content of this table and ensure compatibility with their REST API logic based processing

• Implement and configure outbound REST API calls (where required), including formatting of JSON payloads

• Set up status handling and monitoring mechanisms for successful and failed transmissions

• Enhance and customise document selection logic within SAP DMS to support bulk export use cases

• Support in testing, documenting and deploying the developed interface

Must-have requirements

• Proven experience with SAP DMS and ABAP development, especially in interface and document handling scenarios
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON structures and endpoint communication
• Ability to implement customised tables or queues in SAP for asynchronous processes
• Experience with status logging, error handling and monitoring of integration flows

Optional requirements

• Experience with the integration of SAP DMS into external archive systems (e.g. OpenText or similar)
• Practical knowledge of RESTful interface integration
• Knowledge of mass data processing in SAP and related performance considerations
• Previous experience of working with OpenText or similar third-party solution providers
