We are looking for a Senior Engineer Machine Learning (m/f/d) to join our company in Bielefeld as soon as possible.

What tasks await you:

• You select and implement suitable solution methods in the areas of AI and machine learning
• You carry out requirements analyses and develop targeted solutions within AI projects
• You are responsible for project management and implementation of implementation projects (from the conception phase to going live)
• You support our clients in our customer projects
• You not only process our large amounts of AI data, you also go deep into the analysis
• You are responsible for the continuous improvement of quality and performance and the further expansion of our AI competence
• You scan new methods and technologies and implement them if necessary
• You actively develop in Python, MS SQL, R

What you bring with you:

• 3–6 years of professional experience in statistics, machine learning, deep learning, or AI software engineering
• Project management experience
• In-depth knowledge of classical machine learning methods and modern deep learning methods
• In-depth experience in building ML pipelines, performance optimization, and feature engineering
• Experience with overall responsibility for ML projects (from data acquisition to deployment)
• Very good programming skills in Python, R, SQL
• Experience with putting models into production (online inference, batch prediction, A/B testing)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
• Ability to develop innovative approaches and optimize existing ones
• You definitely have a good knowledge of German (native speaker or C2 level)
