ABOUT THE TEAM
In addition to managing our existing Specialties Trading business, this new created department is operating a new initiative to build a dedicated business unit focused on Specialty NPKs, Customized Fertilizers, Water-Soluble Fertilizers, and other specialized plant nutrition products. In this position, the Regulatory Manager Specialty Fertilizers will help the team supporting within their main duties and responsibilities as of below. This position is based in Binningen or Lausanne, Switzerland.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the registration of specialty fertilizers, ensuring full compliance with international regulatory standards.
- Developing and implementing regulatory strategies for assigned products, including trial assessments and the preparation of registration dossiers in line with applicable regulations.
- Conducting data gap analyses, preliminary evaluations, and managed the end-to-end submission process to regulatory authorities.
- Designing and executing fast-track registration pathways, effectively shortening the time-to-market for strategic products.
- Maintaining close collaboration with marketing and sales teams to ensure accurate communication of registered product labels.
Continuously monitoring regulatory developments, including active ingredient renewals and restrictions, to ensure the company remained aligned with evolving legislation.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry, Biology, or Agronomy.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a regulatory role, preferably within the fertilizer or crop protection industry.
- Solid understanding of policies and regulations relevant to the fertilizer sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to interpret complex technical data and effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive regulatory compliance through influence and expertise.
