For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Supply Chain Quality Engineer for Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) (m/f/d) in Böblingen (hybrid). Your tasks: * Assures manufacturing, quality and reliability of technically challenging PCBAs throughout the outsourced supply chain * Auditing and development of printed circuit board PCBA suppliers in accordance with our client's quality and technology requirements * Development and implementation of strategies for continuous process monitoring of outsourced PCBA manufacturing with the aim of consistently receiving and delivering the highest quality products * Drives resolution of technical issues on PCBA-level at and with our EMS providers * Develops, maintains and shares expertise of PCBA-design, PCBA-production and automated test of PCBAs Your Qualification: * Bachelor's, master's, or university degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, materials science, physics, or a comparable field * In-depth knowledge of PCBA design, manufacturing, and testing, acquired through relevant professional experience; ideally certified IPC A-600 and IPC A-610 specialist * Excellent analytical skills in solving technical problems, including remotely and with partners * Experience with supplier development and supplier audits in the EMS sector, ideally certified as process auditor acc. VDA 6.3 * Strong team spirit and ability to work in an intercultural environment, strong self-management, coordination and communication skills * Fluent English language skills * Ability to travel 5-20% of the time Interested?
