You are part of the Specialty Films strategic business unit. We are a global team that develops specialty film solutions for a broad customer base with a focus on the automotive, medical and security segments. As a leading partner for high-quality, customized technical specialty films, we support our customers with innovative, tailor-made solutions. As a global supplier of technical specialty films with a focus on polycarbonate and thermoplastic polyurethane films, supplemented by coated films, with production sites in Europe, North America and Asia, we supply all the world's major markets with films of consistently high quality.

In addition to our diverse benefits, a full-time position offers an attractive starting salary between €77,600/year and €93,900/year plus a variable component. The starting compensation depends on your qualifications and professional experience.

Your tasks:

• In your new position, you will be responsible for initiating and leading technical application projects with new or existing film products and/or new applications in close cooperation with the Commercial Operations organization

• You will be responsible for coordinating technical activities in close coordination with Research & Development and Product Management according to the product and segment strategies

• You will also provide technical support to customers and partners along the process and value chain

• You will also be responsible for scouting and benchmarking new technologies in the film processing industry and securing your own developments through patents

• You will identify future trends in the film market, exchange information with the other regions on new applications and technologies and support the transfer process

• Finally, you will carry out product and application training and take part in trade fairs and conferences

Your qualifications:

• You have successfully completed a technical degree - ideally in the field of plastics processing or a comparable degree

• Your profile shows first experience in the field of application technology or development - in the area of film or plastics

• You have a strategic and analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex customer requirements into technical solutions

• A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills are among your strengths

• You enjoy working in a team and impress with your strong intercultural networking skills and willingness to travel (inter)nationally

• Fluent written and spoken German and English round off your profile
