Your tasks

Her tasks cover two areas:

1. Auditing and assessment of solutions with regard to IT security with a focus on healthcare
2. Support in setting up an AI competence team as part of the testing of AI components at customers, combined with the internal development of an AI-based tool landscape to support the work in testing and consulting, including compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements, which is necessary to be able to use AI safely in safety-critical areas

Auditing & assessment

• Auditing and evaluation of applications in the eHealth environment, taking into account IT security, data protection and regulatory requirements
• Professional and technical assessment of AI systems, in particular in the context of risk, protection requirements and trustworthiness assessments
• Support in the preparation of audit reports, statements and decision bases for clients and internal committees

AI systems & internal skills development

• Creating usage and security concepts for the use of artificial intelligence and other new technologies
• Supporting the secure design and operation of internal AI infrastructures to support our audit and review work in a complex, highly regulated environment in terms of compliance, data protection and IT security. This includes in particular:
• Operation and optimization of local RAG pipelines including retrieval strategies and context processing
• Establishment and further development of monitoring and observability concepts for AI systems
• Development and operation of document-based analysis functions, e.g. structured evaluations and technical derivations
• Linking, maintenance and versioning of documents, models and technical references as an internal expert system
• Implementation of model routing mechanisms based on automatic classification of user input according to need for protection
• Automated preparation, enrichment and extraction of relevant metadata from documents
• Integration and operation of security mechanisms such as RBAC, Secrets Management and Confidential Computing

• Participation in the development and further development of test concepts for modern security architectures, especially in cloud and AI environments, taking into account the incipient regulation at national and international level

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science, IT security, data science or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in at least one of the following areas IT audit, information security, AI systems or eHealth or a doctorate in a relevant field
• Experience with AI/ML systems, ideally with RAG architectures and local models
• Understanding of protection needs analyses, risk assessments and regulatory requirements
• Analytical way of working, high level of personal responsibility and interest in building up knowledge
• Sound knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized architectures
• Good written and spoken German, knowledge of English an advantage
