As the Divisional Communications and Engagement Operations Director, you’ll lead the digital communications strategy, infrastructure, and performance—driving innovation, optimizing platforms, and ensuring impactful messaging across global channels. Your key accountabilities include:
- Support the development and execute a comprehensive global internal communications strategy aligned with divisional priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing guidance on messaging, leadership communications, change management, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure consistent, coherent messaging across regions and business units by providing strategic direction to the wider communications community.
- Lead the internal crisis and reputational response process, ensuring timely, accurate, and coordinated communication.
- Own the strategy, governance, and evolution of digital communication platforms (Smart Workspace, Smart Connect, SharePoint, and related tools), ensuring they effectively support business needs.
- Lead the implementation of the digital communications roadmap, driving innovation and adopting emerging trends to continuously improve employee experience.
- Oversee digital operations, including risk identification and mitigation, vendor management, and service performance.
- Manage budgets associated with digital platforms and initiatives, optimizing investments and ROI.
- Own editorial planning, content pipelines, and publishing of global stories, announcements, and newsletters to drive alignment and engagement.
- Ensure storytelling quality and brand consistency across all internal channels and regions.
- Oversee internal engagement campaigns and global events that reinforce culture, purpose, and strategic priorities.
- Monitor and analyze performance of communication activities and channels, using data‑driven insights to optimize strategies and improve impact.
- Establish and continuously refine communication frameworks, workflows, and methodologies to support operational excellence and consistency across the function.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
- Provide training, tools, and capability‑building programs for the broader communications community.
- Establish & maintain global governance for internal communications, including standards, guidelines, and quality controls.
- Represent the internal communications function in cross-divisional initiatives, working groups, and projects
