PRODUCT EXPERT (M/F/D) FOR CROSS-BORDER ECOMMERCE PARCEL LOGISTICS

In DHL Cross-Border Solutions, we develop shipping solutions for international eCommerce customers. Our delivery solutions are offered, implemented and supported by a team operating in eight European countries.

You want to actively participate in cross-border B2C parcel shipping across Europe and to contribute to driving growth? You want to become part of an international team that benefits as a key service provider from the rapid growth of online retailers? Then we should get to know each other.

Your tasks

• Management of cross-functional projects for the introduction of new services and features (often involved in our projects are functions like Sales Development, Implementation, Pricing, Billing etc.)
• Work with central Product Management and country organizations to define, implement and roll out product features, new destinations, products or tools
• Drive the Carbon Report development for our products
• Support our country organizations on all sustainabilty related questions coming from our customers, which are mainly European eCommece players
• Prepare and conduct training for existing, changed, new solutions and sustainability to several sales teams across Europe
• Manage central storage and communication on product materials and solutions
• Prepare sales materials and other communication materials around cross-border solutions products
• Support our country organization during technical and operational onboarding of customers to new solutions or products
• Analyse data for decision making processes
• Analyse current solutions of competition and requirements of customers to help drive product development pipeline
• Ad hoc tasks on day to day business related to products and, if required, troubleshoot business issues related to products

Your profile

• University degree in a business discipline or relevant education
• First working experience in Product Management, Solution Design, Business Development, Operations or a related discipline
• Business and market know-how on Cross Border eCommerce market as well as product and process know-how in B2C and/or B2B eCommerce markets is a plus, but not mandatory
• Excellent MS office skills are required and first experience with PowerBI is a plus
• Project management capabilities are essential
• Skillset to understand and deal with highly complex customer demand functions
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working and enthusiasm for cooperation within a dynamic team
• A digital mindset and affinity to work with data
• Very good communication skills as well as commitment and resilience, paired with the ability for Stakeholder Management
• Intercultural competence, e.g. through a longer stay abroad in previous professional positions, during studies or through extended relevant work experience
• Fluent English language skills both, written and spoken
• German is a plus, but not mandatory
