- Initiate and execute Kautex' development activities in Battery thermal management/automotive cooling systems and powertrain integration/electronics/control strategies
- Ensure overall testing and simulation strategy for Kautex thermal management applications including live cell testing
- Ensure design and full functionality of Pentatonic Thermal+ prototypes for battery thermal management
- Guide strategy for powertrain/cooling system integration of Pentatonic Thermal + on vehicle level
- Act as a visible key expert/subject matter expert for the technical field of Battery Thermal Management and cooling system integration
- Be a Key player in customer/series-related innovation project(s) for Pentatonic Thermal+ battery thermal management products
- Innovate Kautex products for Battery thermal management and thermoplastic battery housings through ideas/inventions and prototyping/sampling, including corresponding business cases
- Guide development projects in the field of battery thermal management through independent decisions to technical and business success
- Drive creation and execution of Design Verfification Plans (DVP), Quality and DFMEAs
- Actively support the ideation process and IP related activities
- Supervise and coordinate trainee and undergraduate projects
- Temporarily represent team leader and take over according functions
- Cooperation with external partners & universities/institutes

Qualifications
- Technical University Degree (Ms preferred) in Mechanical Engineering; PhD preferred
- Track record of theoretical and practical experience & technology knowhow within the field of
- automotive thermal management
- thermal integration in automotive powertrains/cooling systems
- vehicle level testing of thermal management systems - Experience in high-voltage testing, min. level 2E
- Strong academic network to leading universities in the field of new mobility
- Track record of practical experience in R&D of automotive industry and (technical) consulting for OEMs/Tier1s
- International experience
- Fluent German and English language skills
