STRATEGIC PARTNER MANAGER – INTERCONT (M/F/X)

Your tasks
Strategic Partnership Management
- Assume overall relationship ownership for designated delivery and brokerage partners
• Build long‑term strategic partnerships and foster collaboration at all levels
• Ensure monitoring of service performance and drive corrective actions and service improvements
Partner Selection & Commercial Alignment
- Lead the evaluation and selection of destination delivery partners and brokers based on country needs, product requirements, and market specifics
• Manage commercial alignment processes, including pricing, contractual discussions, and service expectations
• Collaborate with Trade Law Compliance for due diligence and align solutions from a regulatory compliance perspective
• Lead commercial negotiations, rate discussions, and contract preparation
Cross‑Functional Solution Development
- Translate market and country requirements into tailored delivery or brokerage solutions, identifying new business opportunities supporting continuous growth
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional implementation projects for onboarding and service launches
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Trade Law Compliance & Customs, Operations, IT, Customer Service, and Billing
• Drive implementation of DHL eCommerce standards through active supplier management, including standard quality KPIs, performance review, and billing standards (partly in cooperation with other functions)
Network Enablement & Communication
- Communicate partner capabilities and updates to countries
• Support solution documentation, concept development, and best‑practice sharing
Your profile
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in partner management, procurement, collaboration with customs brokers, or commercial logistics functions
• Previous experience in B2C cross‑border e‑Commerce
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience working in international and cross‑cultural environments
• High flexibility, solution‑oriented mindset, and strong ownership
