Senior Quality Engineer (focused on internal audits & ISO/VDA certifications)

Our client is a prestigious international company and a trusted partner to the world's leading sports car manufacturers. To support the further growth of its Bratislava team, we are looking for a new member who will become a key part of projects focused on the assurance and certification of quality management systems.If you have a technical university degree, demonstrable experience with audits according to IATF and VDA standards, a systematic mindset, and a passion for teamwork – this opportunity could be the ideal next step in your career! Your responsibilities in this role will include: :

• Planning and leading internal and supplier process and product audits according to IATF 16949 and VDA standards (e.g., VDA 6.3)
• Responsibility for reporting on quality, audit results, and the status of corrective actions to the project lead and the customer
• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to resolve systemic non-conformities and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions (8D methodology
• Actively participating in new project launches to ensure compliance with quality requirements from the initial phases
• Identifying and analyzing risks in processes (Process FMEA) and ensuring their mitigation
• Reviewing technical documentation, control plans, and audit records
• Supporting preparations for external and certification audits and communicating with external auditors

What we expect from you?

• A university degree in a technical field
• At least 5 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry
• Demonstrable hands-on experience conducting audits according to IATF 16949 and/or VDA 6.3 is a key requirement
• In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA standards is essential
• Good knowledge of standard quality tools (FMEA, 8D, PPAP, Control Plan)
• Strong analytical thinking, with a systematic and proactive approach
• Advanced English (min. B2 level) is a requirement; German is a significant advantage
• Slovak/Czech as a mother tongue
• Willingness to travel
