AIT Processes Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Create, maintain and continuously update AIT standard documents (e.g. Work Instructions, procedure references, AIT document templates and AIT Handbook content)
- Define and maintain standard AIT processes in alignment other AIT Teams (e.g. Work preparation, Assembly, AIT Support) and departments (e.g. Quality, Process Qualification)
- Identify improvement opportunities and ensure that insights from operations, non-conformities, and project feedback are translated into updated standards and documentation (structured Lessons Learned process)
- Oversee the coordination, assignment, and rollout of trainings, including the integration of new training initiatives from different teams
- Extend existing training frameworks and coordinate cross-functional trainings throughout AIT
- Support the introduction and continuous improvement of AIT‑relevant digital tools (e.g., PDM, SAP, AIT.COM, Polarion)
- Contribute to digitalization and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and consistency in AIT workflows
Your Qualifications
- Completed education in production / aerospace engineering or a degree focused on space technology or comparable qualification
- Solid experience in production environments, ideally within the aerospace/space sector
- Practical experience in process management, organizational change, or workflow digitalization
- Hands-on experience in managing organizational change and implementing digitalization strategies (e.g. introduction of new tools into existing workflows)
- Familiar with applicable space standards (ECSS) is a plus
- Structured working style, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across functions and sites
- Fluency in spoken and written English
