For temporary employment of 24 months OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
Engineer for Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Identification of the required MGSE (Mechanical Ground Support Equipment) in collaboration with the System Engineering team
- Development of solution approaches and subsequent creation of specifications for the MGSE
- Presentation of concepts to project management and the customer MGSE scheduling
- Contributions to milestone reviews regarding MGSE
- Selection of potential suppliers in collaboration with Supply Chain Management
- Technical point of contact for suppliers during the manufacturing phase, monitoring manufacturing progress
- Participation in reviews with suppliers
- Participation in acceptance tests
- Definition and review of required documentation (manufacturing drawings, manuals, test reports, etc.)
- Training of employees in the use of MGSE
Your Qualifications
- Completed education or degree in the field of mechanics, aerospace engineering, physics, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5-10 years of relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge in the field of mechanics and mechanical integration
- Familiarity with applicable aerospace standards
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Responsibility and an effective working style are key strengths
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
