We are a family-run shipowner group made up of a diverse network of maritime and logistics companies. Together, we are the bridge between land and sea. Our 400 office employees and 2,000 crew members are currently taking care of a diversified fleet of 75 vessels from the segments heavy lift carriers, MPP vessels, tankers, bulk carriers, container feeders, dock vessels, jack-up vessels and other offshore units. Carrying the loads no one else can, keeping the world on the move, and leading the energy transition for a greener tomorrow.
To ensure optimal ship care, we have dedicated crews for each specialized vessel. They are working in a demanding environment, conducting the transport of mainly project cargoes and real heavy units which are loaded worldwide. As part of that crew, you become part of our entire organisation, working hand in hand with specialists from other areas like engineering, operating, purchasing, crewing and inspection.
- You lead the ship’s crew to keep your dedicated vessel in sound condition in every technical, safety and operational aspect
- You safely plan, prepare and execute all voyages and cargo operations
- You openly and effectively communicate relevant information and issues with clients, the classification society and authorities in close co-operation with the shore-based inspection team
- You efficiently control voyage costs in accordance with given circumstances and implement appropriate solutions
- You maintain and feed the reporting system to share the maintenance status and upcoming repairs with the onshore team
You are EU citizen and hold a license as Master Mariner and all necessary STCW qualifications are valid and at hand. Ideally, you already gained experience as Master. In addition, you have the following knowledge and characteristics:
- Sound knowledge and experience in the marine heavy lift and projects sector
- Willing to work in a team and target-oriented
- Combining high work motivation with great resilience
- Familiar with modern cargo planning tools and QA systems
- Fluent English
