Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)

The leading content agency for the fashion and lifestyle industry in Europe with clients such as adidas, Zalando, P&C and many more. That’s us: the Wiethe Content GmbH.

We are market leader in the areas of photography, film and CGI, and create new cross-media content that are used according to the target group in question.
Our headquarter is our 11,000 m² large photography studio in Bremen, where we employ around 200 people.

As a Senior System Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and make a significant contribution to its further development and optimisation.

Location

YOUR TASKS

System administration (Windows, Linux) and virtualisation (Proxmox, VMware)
Network and security solutions with a focus on Fortinet and SentinelOne
Setup and operation of cloud solutions (e.g. O365 / Entra ID)
Monitoring (e.g. Greenbone, Monitos) and automation (OpenTofu, scripting)
Storage clusters (Dell Isilon) and backup strategies (Veeam)
Implementation and operation of containers (Docker Swarm or possibly Kubernetes) and databases (MariaDB / MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Collaboration on infrastructure projects such as the introduction of new technologies, migrations and optimisations

WHAT WE EXPECT

Several years of experience in system engineering
Very good knowledge of Windows Server (MCSA level) or in-depth knowledge of Linux administration, as well as IT security tools or Fortinet network technology
Knowledge of cloud web services, backup tools, scripting, IT emergency manuals, monitoring (Greenbone, Monitos), container orchestration (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm) and databases (MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus
Soft skills: independent work, ability to work in a team, problem-solving skills, customer orientation, service mentality, flexibility and a real enthusiasm for technology
You bring analytical vision and have a strong awareness of quality
