Systems Engineer for Telecommunication Missions (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Support System Engineering Manager in the definition of the satellite architecture
- Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem Engineers
- Support in the configuration and management of the satellite internal and external interfaces (e.g. launcher interfaces)
- Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements
- Support spacecraft validation and verification on system level
- Flow down of the satellite requirements to subsystem level specifications
- Ensure compliance to the satellite technical requirements
- Coordination of the technical system budgets (electrical power, propellant, telemetry, command, pointing, mass properties)
- Support the generation the AIT plans and operation plans
- Oversee satellite test preparation and evaluate test results
- Define Test Specifications for System Level Tests and Verification campaigns
- Support the set-up and maintenance of spacecraft data bases and simulators
- Prepare for launch and flight phases, including preparation of launcher interfaces and for operations data
- Contribute to project risk management
Your Qualifications
- Master degree in engineering, physics or aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in satellite in studies (phase A/B), proposal and implementation projects (phase B2/C/D)
- Experience in technical negotiations with the customer
- Self-managed and pro-active working style
- Ability to work with and implement processes
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good knowledge of English and German
