Systems Engineering Architect (m/f/d) - Avionics
Your Tasks
- Lead the design of the Avionics architecture of the satellite
- Define and develop the Avionics Architecture of the satellite, covering initial sizing, trade offs, Interface Budgets and HW performances
- Manage the avionics subsystems (data handling, telemetry and telecommands, payload data downlink, laser communications terminal, crypto) during detailed design and testing phases as design authority
- Interface management and control on physical level and across the protocol stack
- Development risk management and mitigation
- Test planning and supervision
- Non-conformance closure
Your Qualifications
- A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or compatible qualification
- Professional experience in space- or aircraft avionics domain
- Professional experience leading technical teams of at least 2 domains
- Experience with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of avionics systems
- Proven capability to deliver project results in time and budget
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Fluency in German is desired (Language skills can be improved through company-facilitated trainings)
