WANTED: Trainee freight forwarding and logistics services clerk in Project Logistics
Über diesen Job
The successful applicant will be involved with:
- Daily work with colleagues, service providers, and customers worldwide. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we'll show you how to process orders within a project.
- Creating quotes, plan shipments, and monitor transport so that everything arrives at the customer's location on time and in good condition.
- Regularly rotate through different teams, gaining experience in various areas of our company.
- Plan and organize the international transport of various goods by road, air, or sea.
- Manage and monitor the interaction of all parties involved in the logistics chain, such as airlines, shipping companies, and customs.
- The focus of your training will be on project logistics. This means we'll handle the entire logistics process for a customer project, such as supplying a customer's construction site in a desert. Here, we manage all deliveries, from everyday necessities for the on-site staff to large generators required for the project. We will not have recurring truck dispatching.
The successful applicant will have/be:
- Good secondary school leaving certificate, advanced technical college entrance qualification, or university entrance qualification
- Very good German skills
- Good to very good English and geography skills Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus
- Basic mathematical understanding
- Eagerness to learn combined with an interest in economic topics
- Interest in working independently even during training
- Flexibility and communication skills
- Enjoyment of teamwork and good interpersonal skills
