Because digital energy trading can't wait any longer: At EWE TRADING GmbH, we handle the energy trading activities of the EWE Group and act as the Group´s interface to the wholesale markets for power, natural gas, emission rights and renewable energy . The position is based in BremenWould you like to:
- gain hands-on exposure to power trading and understand the key drivers of energy markets
- help us analyze, process, and visualize complex datasets
- support traders in making data-driven commercial decisions
- apply data science methods to market analysis and trading strategy development
- challenge the status quo and improve our processes, tools, and systems
What you bring with you:
- enrollment in a degree program such as Industrial Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- a strong analytical mindset and a structured, detail-oriented way of thinking
- solid programming skills in Python and experience with SQL
- experience with JavaScript/React is a plus
- familiarity with data analysi s and modelling, visualization, and dashboarding
- basic knowledge of energy markets is advantageous but not required
What we offer:
- six - to twelve -month working student position (20 hours)

- remote work to some degree is possible but you are required to be in Bremen regularly
