Commercial Project Manager (m/f/d)

b.offshore GmbH offers steel construction, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering for the entire offshore wind farm from planning to the operating phase to periodic inspections according to BSH standard reliably from a single source. Our North German engineering office has offshore experience and is equipped with all offshore certificates according to GWO standard and has been working for the entire offshore wind industry since 2016.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for and handling of commercial tasks for offshore wind energy projects – from the tender phase to implementation
• Project-related creation and monitoring of project budgets, cost control and forecasts
• Preparation and tracking of payment confirmations, advance payment requests and final invoices
• Involvement in contract awards, purchase requisitions, accounts receivable management and dunning
• Responsibility for project-related cash management
• Implementation of contract management (including claims and addendum management)
• Close cooperation with technical project managers, purchasing, controlling and external partners
• Management of service providers and suppliers in commercial matters
• Reporting to the management

Your profile

• Completed commercial vocational training and/or degree in an economic or technical field (e.g. business administration, industrial engineering or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in the offshore or wind energy sector
• In-depth knowledge of contract management and project controlling
• Experience with international projects and multicultural teams is an advantage
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills
• Business fluent written and spoken German and English
• Confident use of MS Office applications
• Valid driving license, at least class B
• Interest in future topics related to renewable energies
