is seeking a proactive
Primary Cover Supervisor
to join their dynamic team. The school has recently been graded "Good" by Ofsted and boasts a strong reputation for developing staff and offering internal progression.
The Cover Supervisor will lead lessons across all year groups (EYFS-KS2) when teachers are absent and will be supported by senior leaders and subject leads. No planning is required - just a confident, reliable presence and a passion for working with children.
What you'll do:
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
Ensure students remain on task with pre-set learning
Support the class with routines, transitions, and behaviour
Liaise with year group leads to provide feedback after lessons
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a TA, HLTA, instructor, or tutor
Strong classroom management skills
A flexible and positive approach to the school day
A genuine desire to work in primary education
