A Pupil Referral Unit in Northwest London is looking for a committed and compassionate Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who face challenges in mainstream education.

Role Details:

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent or Long-Term
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students in KS3 and KS4

• Support learners with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

• Implement effective behaviour management strategies

• Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies

• Contribute to a nurturing, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification

• Experience working in an alternative provision or with challenging behaviour is an advantage

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching

• A strong belief in the potential of every young person
