We are looking for an Analytical Transfer & Quality Control Readiness Expert who is detail-oriented, results-driven, and collaborative to join our Analytical Sciences and Technology team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing analytical method transfers for UCB products, from Phase III through the entire product lifecycle. You’ll act as the central liaison between internal labs and external partners.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll join a dynamic, cross-functional team working closely with QC departments, Bio/Pharma Development, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and external CLO/CMO partners across the globe.
What You’ll Do
•Lead analytical method transfers between UCB and/or external labs
•Schedule activities at both sending and receiving unit.
•Play a key role as analytical expert in transfer accomplishment and method evaluation
•Be responsible for writing transfer protocols and reports
•Coordinate activities between sending and receiving units Analyze, validate data from transfer exercises and assess method transfer outcome
•Support country launches and new product introductions Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standard
•Ensure timely deliverables of analytical support
Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following background and skills
•Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry with 5+ years in a GMP lab environment
•Expertise in HPLC, GC, dissolution, Karl Fischer techniques
•Practical laboratory experience is a plus as well as expertise on ELISA, Bioassay and CE
•Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills
•Excellent scientific English and inclusive team spirit
•Deep understanding of EP and USP pharmacopoeias
•Adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement
