Join our Graduate Development Program (GDP) - Biomanufacturing: Development to Supply

Kick-start your career in the exciting world of healthcare

Who we are
UCB is a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in neurology and immunology. With 8,500 colleagues across more than 40 countries, we share one mission: to make a real difference in patients’ lives through science and innovation. Want to learn more? Visit our website: www.ucb.com

What is the Graduate Development Program (GDP)? The GDP is a two-year rotational program designed to launch your career and accelerate your development within UCB. Across three rotations of 8 months, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with international experts, and gain a comprehensive view of how our organization works to deliver value for patients.

Throughout a predefined journey, you’ll rotate across either technical & scientific or functional & transversal teams, with exposure to areas such as manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, portfolio management or digital systems while being fully supported through dedicated coaching from your manager, guidance from a senior mentor, and day to day help from a buddy.

You’ll build future ready skills such as project management, problem solving, data analysis, digitalization, and operational excellence, while gaining exposure to regulatory and compliance environments and understanding how Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ensure quality and patient safety across everything we do.

As part of UCB’s Early Talent community, you’ll also connect with peers through workshops, site visits, and networking events that enrich your learning and broaden your perspective.

What you need to join – Mandatory requirements

To fully participate and grow in the program, you must have:

  • A recent Master’s degree in Science, Management, Engineering or Business
  • Early-career status, typically with no more than two years of professional experience
  • Languages: English: Fluent, French: Basic knowledge and willingness to learn required (training provided).
  • Legal right to work in Belgium & Switzerland

What will help you thrive – The qualities we value

You don’t need prior experience in biopharma to succeed, we’re hiring for potential. You’ll thrive in this program if you’re curious and motivated to learn, comfortable adapting to new teams and topics, and eager to take initiative. We value people who enjoy collaborating, take ownership of their work, act with integrity, and care about quality.

Practical Information

  • Start date: October 1st, 2026
  • Location: Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium and / or Bulle, Switzerland
  • The final interview will take place on site, at our Braine-l’Alleud campus, on Tuesday, 30 June. Candidates must be physically available on that date. Travel from the train station of Braine can be arranged from 8:30 am.
