ESHA / HSE Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced ESHA Manager EMEA & Site SEO for our Gendorf site. This is a key leadership with responsibility for managing a team of direct reports and providing guidance to a broader network of safety professionals across the region.

Responsibilities

Environmental, Safety, and Health Compliance

• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health regulations, and Clariant's ESHA guidelines across the EMEA region.
• Provide expert ESHA and sustainability advice to plant management teams.
• Initiate and perform audits and coordinate regional ESHA activities.
  

Safety Management

• Ensure workplace and plant safety through risk assessments and preventive measures.
• Evaluate new products and processes from an ESHA perspective.
• Lead incident analysis and implement prevention actions.

Operational Management

• Enhance emergency management organization and procedures.
• Manage ESHA training programs.
• Oversee waste management processes ensuring legal compliance and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in plant management, occupational and/or process safety.
• Fluency in English and German (written & spoken).
• Emergency management experience and ability to adapt under pressure.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities and a service-oriented mindset.
• Experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders.
