Job Description
You plan and design electrical systems for energy supply in industry and utilities – with a focus on power generation through combined heat and power (CHP) plants. You support network planning, electricity demand forecasting, and energy-related data processing, and advise on network expansion and restructuring.
Type of position: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Working hours: Monday to Friday
Task Description
- Development and planning of electrical systems for the energy supply of industrial companies and utility providers, mainly in power generation through combined heat and power (cooling) plants.
- The feed-in of generated electricity is into low or medium voltage – your planning covers all systems up to the network connection point according to BDEW guidelines.
- Preparation of short- and long-term electricity demand forecasts.
- You provide and analyze the relevant data for energy data management.
- You take on consulting tasks for network expansion and restructuring
Requirements
- Completed degree in energy engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable practical training.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of energy supply in plant engineering.
- Experience with the use of all important electrical system components.
- Sound knowledge of specific regulations of energy law such as EEG, KWKG, EnEV, as well as knowledge of the requirements of BDEW guidelines.
- English language skills are required
