Electrical Engineer, Electronics Design (FH/HF), 80–100% (M/F/D)

Your responsibilities:

• Development of electronic systems with a focus on smart meters as well as communication and power switching modules
• Evaluation of new technologies and components, as well as identification of opportunities for our projects
• Support in the industrialization of our products and their transition to production, including the implementation and further development of test systems with a focus on safety and quality
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
• Continuous optimization to improve the performance and reliability of our equipment
• Overseeing existing products during the production process and actively contributing to the stabilization and improvement of processes

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electronics (university of applied sciences or equivalent)
• In-depth knowledge of electronics design (analog and digital circuits)
• Experience in firmware development and, ideally, in software development
• Practical experience in developing test applications, e.g., using C#, C, C++, or LabVIEW
• Basic understanding of cryptographic methods, ideally in the context of DLMS Security (preferred)
• Excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
