FBO Director (M/F/D)

Swissport Executive Aviation, a group company of Swissport International, with FBOs (fixed base operation) in Geneva provides upscale services to the international community of operators and executives who rely on corporate or private jets. Our daily operations are requiring a pool of dynamic and responsible people having the ability to work autonomously on site.

Swissport Executive Aviation Geneva is looking for a

FBO DIRECTOR (M/F/D)

YOUR TASKS:

• Ensuring smooth daily operations of the Executive Aviation FBO at Geneva Airport, maintaining service excellence and full compliance with internal standards and airport regulations
• Planning, leading and coordinating all customer flight requirements (including hotel, limousine, customs handling, and other bespoke services)
• Supervising crew support activities (briefing preparation including weather, NOTAMs, slots, flight planning, etc.)
• Maintaining high-level relationships with clients, diplomatic delegations, and international organizations
• Representing the company and promoting Swissport Executive Aviation at industry events and conferences worldwide
• Driving continuous operational improvement while managing safety, security, QHSE, and compliance across all FBO activities
• Managing and developing a high-performing team (10–16 staff) with a focus on leadership, communication, and operational discipline
• Overseeing budgetary planning, financial control and resource management
• Ensuring strict adherence to IS-BAH standards and the Swissport Management System (SMS)

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a technical field; additional training in project management or process implementation is a plus
• Several years of proven experience in operational and people management, ideally in private aviation or luxury services
• Strong knowledge of ground handling processes, SLA and customer contract execution
• Excellent command of English and French (spoken and written); German or Italian is an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office and general IT tools
• Valid driving license
