Y our Role:
As part of the Discovery NCE Drug Disposition department, you will work on innovative new approaches in the field of drug metabolism, such as organoid cultures. In your role, you will utilize state-of-the art instrumentation and methods in an industrial research and development environment of a leading pharmaceutical company. Your tasks may include in vitro assays, cell culture, laboratory automation and LC-MS analysis.
The position is limited and intended for a duration of 6 to 12 months, and it is possible to write a Master's thesis during this internship. You should be willing to start on the 1st of June or July 2026.
Who you are:
- An engineering student (in your final year) or Master's student (or comparable) in fields such as biochemistry, biology, pharmacy or chemistry.
- You possess knowledge of drug metabolism and disposition of xenobiotics.
- You have hands-on experience with cell culture techniques, molecular biology methods and, ideally, with biochemical in vitro assays.
- Experience in protein quantification technologies and/or LC-MS is a plus.
