Physicist / Computer Scientist as C++ Software Developer (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of software applications for controlling a film scanner
• Expansion of the software to map individual customer workflows
• Optimization and adaptation of the image pipeline - from image capture to storage
• Implementation of tools for system setup and Quality Assurance
• Performing code reviews and ensuring high software quality
• Analysis and correction of errors (bug fixing) in existing applications

Your Qualifications

• Degree in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in programming with C++
  
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  
• Analytical, goal-oriented, and creative approach to complex problems
• Optional: Experience in UI/UX design
• Optional: Knowledge of AI-supported image optimization and video analysis
• Good English skills (at least B2) in spoken and written language
