• Development, operation, and optimization of data services (MCP) and data pipelines for analytics, ML, and GenAI
• Integration, transformation and provision of data from internal and external sources (ETL/ELT, CDC)
• Platform development & operations: Administration of central AI/data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio)
• Development and maintenance of SQL and NoSQL databases; setting up vector and graph databases
• Operationalization of AI workflows together with data scientists and specialist departments
• Quality, Governance & Security: Data Quality, Lineage and Policies (e.g. with Azure Purview), RBAC, Managed Identity, Key Vault

• Completed studies in (business) informatics, natural sciences or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in data engineering in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks)
• Very good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, Delta Lake experience desirable
• Practice in API development (e.g. FastAPI) and interfaces (ODBC/JDBC, REST)
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Bicep/Terraform), containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes orchestration
• Very good knowledge of German and English
