Our client is part of a leading global electronics and chemicals group, known for its innovation, technical expertise, and long-standing relationships with global industrial customers. The company specializes in electrical insulation materials and solutions.

Operating across three global business lines, the company has a strong footprint in R&D, production, and customer support centers throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. With a recent strategic acquisition in Switzerland, the company is further strengthening its position in the high voltage market and expanding its commercial and technical team. Customers include some of the most recognised names in the energy and industrial sectors.

To support the continued expansion the high voltage business line, we are looking for an experienced and motivated International Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join the company as soon as possible. The position is based in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, or the UK - with a flexible and international setup.

Aufgabengebiet

  • Develop and implement regional sales and account strategies in the high voltage segment
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities across both existing and potential customers
  • Negotiate long-term supply agreements, pricing models, and delivery conditions
  • Collaborate with global Key Account Management to ensure consistent service and support for multinational customers
  • Maintain strong market awareness - including competitor activities
  • Coordinate closely with R&D, technical services, and production sites to align technical offerings with customer requirements
  • Actively support the integration of newly acquired Swiss operations into the commercial strategy
  • Represent the company at customer sites, industry events, and during technical audits or qualification processes

Anforderungsprofil

  • University degree in engineering, materials science, or a commercial field with strong technical orientation
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical B2B sales, ideally in high voltage insulation, power systems, or industrial machinery
  • Solid understanding of customer needs in transformer, generator, or powertrain applications
  • Strong network or prior working relationships with companies within the energy market
  • Technical credibility and confidence in discussions with R&D, engineering, and procurement stakeholders
  • High level of self-motivation, structured way of working, and willingness to travel (30-40%)
  • Fluent English is required; additional languages such as German or Italian are advantageous
  • Prior experience working in international matrix organisations and across borders is a plus
