Your role
Asa Staff Data Scientist (B2B Sales Optimization),you will shape how our sales team specifically targets physicians in Germany. You will develop AI-supported solutions for smarter targeting, personalized communication, and measurable sales success, thus supporting access to medical care. With models such as lead scoring, churn detection, and next-best-action algorithms, you will bring data-driven impact to the team. If you combine technical know-how with commercial flair and transform data into concrete results, Oviva is the right place for you.
Your tasks
Develop and implementpredictive models(e.g., lead scoring, churn detection, segmentation) to improve our sales performance.
Integrate your models directly intoSalesforce workflows, working closely with the engineering and CRM team.
Createdashboards and visual analyticsthat help sales managers evaluate pipeline and prioritize.
ConductA/B testing and causal analysisto measure the benefits of new tools.
Translatesales targets and market feedbackinto concrete analytical questions.
Work directly with sales managers and executives to integrate data-driven initiatives into everyday operations.
Try outgenerative AI applicationssuch as automated meeting briefs, personalized content, or summaries.
Support the sales team in the introduction and use ofAI toolsthrough training, handouts and feedback loops.
Your profile
You have solid experience inpredictive modeling, classification, regression, and clustering, ideally with application to commercial or behavioral data.
You have a strong statistical foundation:hypothesis testing, A/B testing, causal analysis, and uplift modelingare part of your toolkit.
You are confident in usingPython and SQL, even with complex, large-volume data sets, from data preparation to feature engineering and modeling.
You useBI and visualization toolssuch as Looker, Tableau, or Thoughtspot to communicate your findings in a clear and convincing manner.
You have already ledend-to-end data projectsthat have demonstrated measurable impact, such as revenue growth or improved sales performance.
You can prepare complex analyses clearly andin a way that is appropriate for the target group of non-technical stakeholders.
Ideally, you have integrated and monitoredmachine learning models in CRM systemssuch as Salesforce – especially in a B2B or field sales context.
You have already worked withgenerative AI, NLP, or sentiment analysis, e.g., using Vertex AI, OpenAI, or your own pipelines.
You are familiar withGoogle Cloud and BigQuery.
Ideally, you have experience inhealthcare, healthtech, or other regulated industries.
