Join our team as a working student in the Planning & Risk Department and build practical experience within an international and inclusive workplace that values diversity and individuality. You will contribute to planning and risk management processes, working with professional project planners and risk managers, and leveraging digital tools for reporting, documentation, and analysis. This is a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills while being exposed to the whole lifecycle of an offshore windfarm development and construction.

About the role

• Supporting the creation of standard processes and governance documents to standardize and enhance project planning and risk management practices
• Assist analyses within the department to support informative decision making
• Facilitate quality checks of developed software interfaces to ensure functionality and compliance with project requirements
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and regular updates of generic risk registers
• Help with the Active Risk Manager (ARM) administration and perform regular quality checks to ensure risk entries are accurate, current, and properly categorized
• Implement weather calendars to support the calculation of offshore campaigns
• Contribute to the creation and optimization of processes both within the team and across departments, improving efficiency and collaboration
• Participate in the monthly reporting to the Offshore Project Management Team

Job requirements and experience

• Enrolled in an engineering, energy/environmental management, or related field, in advanced studies
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), PowerBI, and ability to learn new IT tools (including Primavera P6 and ARM)
• Curious and motivated to learn new software (for example, developing code) and their interfaces to help create interactive dashboards
• Ability to think critically, work well with others, and commitment to continuous learning
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective communicator in English and German (written and spoken)
