As Business Development Manager, you will be the bridge between market demand and optical innovation: spotting trends before they peak, uncovering fresh use-cases for our current portfolio, shaping the roadmap for next-generation products, and partnering with our sales team to turn opportunities into sustainable growth. Tasks

• Strategic development of Optotune’s business applications
• Acquisition of new customers worldwide
• Market research & definition of new products
• Creation of sales & training materials, business plans and go-to-market strategies
• Content creation for marketing materials
• Participation in trade shows

Requirements

• Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in optics/photonics
• Experience in management consulting advantageous
• Ability to identify new customers, build up & maintain relationships
• Ability to understand customers' technical requirements and suggest solutions
• Passion for technology & innovation, winning personality, well organized, autonomous and prepared to travel internationally
• Excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German, other languages advantageous
• Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
