We are constantly evolving and growing. This requires changes in our organizational structure. Therefore, we are creating the new position of Head of Purchasing/Logistics, directly reporting to the management. In this role, you will take on the leadership of the day-to-day operations of the two areas of purchasing and logistics with personnel and technical responsibility for 20 employees and support the management in the strategic development of these areas.

Your area of responsibility

• Supplier management: Selection of suppliers and service providers, especially in the area of raw materials, purchased parts, electroplating, assembly, including design and conclusion of contracts, supplier evaluation and development, design and conclusion of contracts with suppliers
• Warehouse management: Optimization of internal and external inventory levels, inventory planning, management of customer consignment warehouses
• Shipping management: Negotiation and monitoring of logistics agreements with our national and international customers, freight handling considering international legal requirements and customs regulations; Continuous improvement of logistical processes to ensure timely customer and intra-logistics
• Packaging management: Optimization of procurement, handling, and management of disposable, reusable, and customer packaging, including negotiation and monitoring of customer packaging requirements in collaboration with our sales department
• Strategic development: Support of the management in market observation and design of purchasing strategies

Your profile

• Education: University degree in business administration or industrial engineering
• Professional experience: Several years of professional and managerial experience in the field of procurement and logistics
• Expertise: Supply chain management, proficient use of ERP systems, knowledge of proAlpha advantageous, negotiation skills in English
• Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively
• Communication skills: Strong communication skills as well as confident conflict management, assertive presence, strong negotiation skills
• Problem-solving skills: Quick identification and resolution of problems, pragmatism and results orientation
• Commitment and reliability: High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
