In order to support the System Integration Test department, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a

Intern (d/f/m) in the field of System Integration and Test Engineering

• Location: Donauwörth

• Start: 01.10.2025

• Duration: 6 months

The main activities within the department are

• to define, set up and execute the verification integration plan applicable for different helicopter systems (mainly avionics)

• to work out and provide all elements for certification needs

• to define the requirements for suitable tools and to deploy the associated processes

• to ensure the support required for the following activities:

• Ground tests for the prototype helicopters and for series production, Flight tests, Customer support, Support of the development engineers for the definition

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Supporting improvement projects for new ways of testing on our Avionic Rigs e.g.

• Evolvements on the test robot

• Test automations for flight loop avionic tests

• Improvements in system simulation for avionic tests

• Writing and executing test procedures on our Rigs for these projects

• Documentation & User Manuals for these improvements

• Familiarization with Avionics System in various H/C

Desired skills and qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Electrical engineering / Aeronautics / Computer Science

• Knowledge in requirement management / systems engineering

• You can work independently within data analysis and research

• Language Skills: Fluent in German and English
