Your Role: Development of new and adaptation of existing applications to create new business opportunities in the field of thermoplastic polyurethanes.

In addition to our diverse benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary between €77,600 gross/year and €93,900 gross/year plus a variable component for full-time employment. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Development:

• Development and design of elastic and damping cushioning structures from thermoplastic polyurethanes

• Processing using new additive manufacturing processes

• Development of manufacturing processes including equipment and process technology

• Development of recyclable cushioning materials

• Prototype creation and product development to series maturity

Project Management:

• Interface coordination with research, application technology, marketing/ sales and external partners

• Application technical support for product management, sales and service

• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards

Business Development:

• Market and competitive analysis to identify trends

• Representation as product ambassador at trade fairs and conferences

• Support for go-to-market campaigns

• Conducting customer workshops and consulting projects

What You Bring:

• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or similar with plastics focus

• Professional experience in plastics technology

• Sound knowledge in plastics technology and polymer-based materials

• Excellent knowledge in additive manufacturing and CAD/ AM software

• Programming skills (Python) for data analysis and automation

• Project management experience

• Independent, analytical and solution-oriented working style

• Strong communication skills

• German negotiation-level, English fluent
