Your responsibilities

Manage all Benchmarking and Target Costing activities during the bid phase worldwide in close cooperation with all local organizations involved. Your responsibilities extend to the following:

• Market analysis related to Target Cost
• Development and implementation of Target Costing Principles
• Preparation and implementation of algorithm to calculate Target Cost
• Benchmarking of Cost Estimates.
• Plausibility check of quantities and Man-hours.
• Challenging the price basis.
• Develop KPI’s for the functional performance
• Actively support continuous benchmarking of functional performance, capabilities and cost basis in order to ensure ‘best in class’ in the area of responsibility
• Ensure implementation of harmonized functional support standards, procedures, processes, and tools in the area of responsibility
• Participate in functional specific lessons learned process and continuous improvement process

Your profile

Professional Experience

• University degree (or similar) in engineering or management
• Several years of professional experience in Plant Engineering
• Several years of experience in development, roll-out and implementation of harmonized tools in a globally operating company
• Excellent knowledge of engineering tools/software, Primavera and Microsoft Office tools
• Very good English language skills and preferably in an additional foreign language
