Job Details
At the Faculty of Psychology , Institute of Educational and Developmental Psychology , the Chair of Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience offers for the Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop (CeTI) a position as
(subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L) starting as soon as possible. The position is limited for three years. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG). The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (usually PhD / habilitation thesis).Tasks:
-
conducting research on psychophysical and neural mechanisms of multisensory perception and action
supporting assistants and students on a project-related basis
conduction data analyses from empirical studies
preparing manuscripts for publications of research results
active collaborations with researchers from other research rooms in CeTI
Requirements:
-
university degree (diploma/master) and, if applicable, a PhD degree in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive science, or related fields
experiences in conducting experiments in perception and using EEG or fNIRs methodologies
ability and willingness to work independently, conceptually and scientifically in a team
proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written
