As a working student, you won’t just support tasks – you’ll work on real backend components used in production and learn directly from experienced engineers.

Your role

As a Working Student Backend Developer at COBACK , you will support the development of our GenAI-powered compliance platform and gradually take ownership of backend features.

What awaits you:

• Development of backend features and RESTful APIs
• Support in database design and optimization (PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Integration of AI-related backend services
• Code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring
• Learning modern backend architectures in a real startup environment

What you bring:

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Solid programming skills in Node.js, Python, or Go
• Basic experience with databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
• Interest in cloud infrastructure and backend systems
• Good English skills (German is a plus)
