About this Position
As an AI Governance Consultant, you help organizations develop and implement ethical, legal, and organizational frameworks for the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). You advise executives, business units, and IT teams on their journey toward a responsible, transparent, and sustainable AI strategy. In this role, you act as a bridge between technology, law, compliance, and corporate strategy.
What you´ll do
- Analyze and evaluate existing AI applications in terms of governance, compliance, and ethical aspects
- Develop and implement AI governance policies, processes, and standards
- Advise on regulatory requirements (e.g., EU AI Act, General Data Protection Regulation, other regional legislation such as in China)
- Conduct risk analyses and develop measures to mitigate risks in the AI context
- Train and raise awareness among employees regarding the use of AI and its impact
- Support AI-related audits and certification processes
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., legal teams, data protection officers, business units and functions, works council)
- Monitor current trends, legislation, and best practices in AI governance
What makes you a good fit
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Law, or a comparable qualification
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in governance, compliance, IT consulting, or AI
- Solid knowledge of artificial intelligence, data ethics, and data protection
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR)
- Analytical thinking, structured work approach, and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
