A well-established construction company is seeking an experienced Estimator (Construction) to join its Construction Department.
This position will be responsible for cost estimation and budgeting for turnkey construction projects, primarily industrial and commercial buildings, with some residential projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, experience with BIM-based calculation tools, and a willingness to travel to construction sites across Germany.

Estimator (Construction) Key Responsibilities
• Responsibility for cost calculation of turnkey building construction projects
• Creation of 3D models using Allplan (Nemetschek)
• Budget calculation for turnkey projects using 3D models and Nevaris or comparable tools
• Preparation of service specifications using BIM software in accordance with German standards (VOB / BGB / DIN)
• Obtaining, reviewing, and evaluating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Participation in contract award discussions with clients and subcontractors
• Identification and evaluation of risks, opportunities, and cost increases
• Preparation of supplementary calculations in cooperation with operational project teams
• Collaboration with internal departments and external parties (clients, planners, subcontractors)
• Procurement and negotiation of subcontractor services
• Development of alternative proposals and special solutions
• Regular visits to construction sites across Germany

Estimator (Construction) Ideal Candidate
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, further training as a Construction Technician, or comparable technical qualification
• At least 3–5 years of professional experience as a cost estimator
• Solid experience in turnkey building construction (industrial, commercial, or residential)
• Strong knowledge of BIM, 3D modelling, and costing software (Nemetschek Allplan preferred)
• High level of technical and commercial understanding with a strong sense of responsibility
• Independent, structured, and analytical working style
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset, with assertiveness when required
• Able to work under pressure and remain calm in demanding situations
• Willingness to travel within Germany (2–3 times per month)
• Native level German and advanced level English is required
• IT Skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Allplan, Nemetschek, Nevaris
