A leading Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting a Head of Accounting to work in their office near Dusseldorf.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounting function, acting as the main contact for external audits and tax audits, and supervising bookkeeping.
The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, leadership experience, and proficiency in German and English.

START: €70,000 – €85,000 per year depending on experience (includes 13th month bonus)
LOCATION: near Dusseldorf
WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
BENEFITS: 30 days annual leaves, company car

Head of Accounting Main Responsibilities:
● Managing the accounting function (including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements)
● Acting as the main contact for external audits and tax audits
● Supervising and overseeing bookkeeping: payment processing, posting of bank statements, and review and approval of incoming invoice entries

Head of Accounting Ideal Candidate:
● Completed commercial training, with further qualifications in accounting
● Several years of relevant professional experience, with initial leadership experience
● Fluent German along with business level English skills
● Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
● Strong analytical thinking and sense of responsibility
