Your responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Contract and Vendor Management team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our IT sourcing, partner management, and stakeholder management processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our strategic goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of vendor contracts, from negotiation to execution and renewal, while fostering strong relationships with our strategic and major IT partners and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership and Strategy: You develop and implement strategies for contract and vendor management that align with the company's overall objectives. Furhtermore, you lead a diverse team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Contract Management: You oversee the negotiation, execution, and administration of vendor contracts and you ensure that all contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and that they deliver value for money.
- Vendor Management: You build and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors. You ensure monitoring of vendor performance, management of risks, and that vendors meet their contractual obligations.
- Stakeholder Management: You collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that vendor services meet these needs and act as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related issues.
- Continuous Improvement: You identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure best practices in contract and vendor management are being implemented and constantly improved. And of course stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations.
Your profile
- Education: You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Laws or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is a plus.
- Experience: You have proven experience in contract and vendor management, particularly in the context of IT sourcing and partner management. You are able to demonstrate strong background in stakeholder management.
- Skills: You possess excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Your ability to lead and motivate a team is remarkable. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Business fluent English (written and verbal) is a must and is at your disposal.
- Attributes: You highly value and create an inclusive and collaborative leadership style. You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Of course you are commited to continuous learning and improvement.
