A Düsseldorf based logistics company is currently recruiting a Logistics Operations / Inside Sales (International Freight Forwarding).
In this role you will be responsible for operations and inside sales related to international freight forwarding. The role supports the smooth execution of logistics processes and helps generate new business opportunities through shipment coordination, customer communication, and quotation preparation.
The role will suit someone who has experience in the international freight forwarding industry (operations, sales, or sales support).

Aufgaben

• Manage bookings and shipment coordination for import and export cargo via sea, air, and land transportation
• Prepare and review shipping documents such as Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), and invoices
• Coordinate freight rates and schedules with shipping lines and airlines
• Identify potential new customers and set up appointments through phone and email outreach
• Understand customer needs and propose suitable logistics solutions
• Provide shipment status updates and respond to customer enquiries

Anforderungen

• Practical experience in the international freight forwarding industry (operations, sales, or sales support)
• Understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures
• Strong logical communication skills and customer service abilities
• Business level of fluency in both English and German
• Some understanding of Japanese language would be advantageous
